Jon Shaw Marine Biologist and award winning cinematographer offers personalised training in both underwater film and diver training. Whether you are looking to refine your skills, or start fresh Jon can tailor a course specific to your needs.

Jon is a qualified PADI Master Instructor, technical dive instructor and currently lectures in underwater cinematography at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) , Fox Studios Sydney. He also holds a Cert IV in workplace training and assessment.

Jon has shot for all the major networks both here in Australia and also internationally and has won multiple awards including a Silver ACS (Australian Cinematographers Society) Award for wildlife and nature.

Students can receive expert tuition on the unique challenges the underwater camera operator faces underwater and will learn about:

We can also offer tuition on post production workflows with underwater footage including editing, colour grading and output options. Courses can be offered on an individual basis or we can offer group programs
